Bridget joined The Goodtimes Project staff after being a longtime volunteer not only at Camp Goodtimes but also on our Gala planning committee and Board of Directors. Professionally, Bridget has been working in nonprofits for more than 20 years most recently at Woodland Park Zoo as their Philanthropic Events Supervisor and Cedarmere Foundation as their Grants Manager. She has a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University and a B.S. in Environmental Science from Gannon University.

Camp Nickname: Backpack

Becky manages fundraising events, the annual giving campaign and monthly donor program, and collaborates with the executive director on grants and planned giving initiatives. A long-time volunteer, and former camper, Becky brings experience working with the pediatric oncology community and a passion for the organization’s mission.

Lauren has joined the team at The Goodtimes Project to provide additional office support and aid in planning various exciting events. Lauren is the second Washingtonian to join the team and is very excited to learn more while providing a helping hand. Lauren brings significant volunteer experience and a passion for working with children of all ages. Lauren is looking forward to building personal relationships and becoming a part of this beautiful community. In her spare time, Lauren loves cooking and caring for her houseplants, as well as staying active in the sustainability movement.

Camp Nickname: Cooper

Tanya manages our summer camps, including Camp Goodtimes, Mini Camp, and Kayak Adventure Camp. This includes the hiring of volunteer staff, development of camp programming and schedules, procurement of supplies and donations needed to run a memorable camp session, and acceptance of campers. As a former The Goodtimes Project volunteer and marketing and communications manager, Tanya brings both heart and knowledge to the position.

Camp Nickname: S’mores

Mark joins The Goodtimes Project after having spent more than a decade serving various non-profit organizations in Oregon and Washington. Mark loves all things related to sports, is a bit of a movie buff, and loves to read anything and everything.  On the weekends, you're likely to find Mark and his wife Stephanie taking their 11-month old son Luca to a playground.  As Mark gets settled into his new role, he looks forward to connecting with those who have a passion for supporting the work of The Goodtimes Project.

Our Board of Directors governs the strategic vision of our organization and sees to the needs and support of its employees and constituents. The members of our Board represent a diverse group of community leaders throughout Western Washington and Alaska. Members are long-time camp volunteers, alumni campers, and camper parents, while others bring business acumen and outside perspectives. Together they are united behind the mission.

Camp Nickname: Star

Annette is a Human Resources executive with expertise leading business and people strategies including employee performance, management capability, and “DIBS”—diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Annette was the Program Director for Camp Goodtimes in the mid-1980’s in the first few years of its existence. She is both excited and honored to be joining The Goodtimes Project Board to engage once again in all the good work supporting families facing the challenges of childhood cancer. Annette and her husband Adam live in Lake Tapps with their twin teenagers, Alex & Aurora.

Alina is a Sr. Manager, Customer Experience and Business Trends at Amazon, leading multiple services focused on deeply understanding, improving, and influencing customer experience, globally. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and three children camping and enjoying the outdoors. Joining The Goodtimes Project board and being given the opportunity to help create “goodtimes” for children and families who need it most is a privilege and Alina is excited to contribute her skills and deep passion for camping to advance the organization’s mission and impact.

Chris is the Vice President of Finance for Amazon’s Physical Stores businesses, responsible for driving controllership, strategic planning and capital allocation initiatives. He joined the Goodtimes Board in 2022 and is excited to support this amazing program.

Camp Nickname: Burly

Kim Wolfe is a Senior Manager of the Alaska Provider Network Management team at Premera Blue Cross, where she has worked for over 20 years. She manages the team that is responsible for contracting with the providers, facilities and hospitals in the state of Alaska. Kim lives in Snohomish with her husband Bert. They enjoy spending time with family & friends, including their grandson Cameron and coming soon - granddaughter (to be named), traveling, fishing & wine tasting. Kim volunteered as a cabin counselor at Camp Goodtimes in 2014 and has been a passionate advocate ever since. She is looking forward to expanding her support through her time on the Board.

Camp Nickname: Pickle Juice (PJ)

Alex was introduced to the magic of Camp Goodtimes while on active treatment. From the time he was eight, he was hooked on camp and the Goodtimes Project. Having been a camper at Goodtimes and Kayak camp, an LIT, a counselor, and helping with other Goodtimes projects, he is eager to continue spreading hope, joy, and love in the pediatric cancer community. As a professional fundraiser and his prior board experience, Alex aims to bring his breadth of knowledge to the board.

Riley has worked in the pediatric hematology / oncology community for the last 10 years. She currently works as a Certified Child Life Specialist at Seattle Children’s Hospital in the Cancer and Blood Disorder Clinics, where she supports the kids we serve in a clinical setting. She feels ecstatic to be on the board to share real examples of our campers’ journey and bring that perspective to camp and other programming! Outside of camp she loves spending time with her family, including her two perfect step-daughters and doggo, as well as getting outside in the Pacific Northwest beauty.

Kari was first introduced to Camp Goodtimes when her son was diagnosed with cancer in 2015. Since 2015, both of her kids have been attending camp and participating in other activities associated with the Goodtimes Project. Kari brings to the board experience with pediatric cancer and working with school age children and families as an Intermediate School Principal. Kari is passionate about supporting kids with opportunities to find joy after a cancer diagnosis because she knows first hand that diagnosis is just the beginning of a family's battle against cancer.

Kristen Fox

Kristen is a Director within Amazon’s People, eXperience, and Technology (PXT) organization, responsible for providing strategic HR leadership for a global organization. Prior to Amazon, Kristen spent the majority of her career in the healthcare industry, both in Human Resources and in Business Development. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family and two rescue dogs. Kristen is excited to be on the board and work to further the mission of The Goodtimes Project in support of children and families affected by cancer.

Kayla Galgano

Kayla is a versatile creative with over a decade of experience building brands and creating innovative solutions for companies of all sizes both locally and internationally. She runs her own creative studio, launched a family business called Dügood, and works as a creative director for an award-winning perfume designer in Los Angeles. Her strong connection to the organization comes from her mother who is a leukemia survivor, a former Camp Goodtimes counselor (Babs), as well as a former ACS board member. Kayla enjoys (many things) the arts, reading, film, food, music, and outdoor activities like skiing, sailing, surfing, and taking a swim in the sound. Most of all, she loves spending time with her 15-year-old black lab, Marley girl. Kayla is excited and deeply honored to be given the opportunity to join The Goodtimes Project board of directors—energized to further its mission and give back to the children and families affected by cancer.

Camp Nickname: Swiss Miss

Sheri’s first experience with Camp Goodtimes was in 1988, when she was a camper while undergoing treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She volunteered on staff for the following 12 years, often as a counselor for the youngest girls. Sheri took a number of years off to be home with her children, but always hoped to return, which she has done since 2013. Sheri is a graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in psychology, and is a cooperative preschool teacher in Edmonds. Sheri and her husband, Derek, have two sons - a high schooler and a UW Husky. She joined the board in 2020 and is looking forward to this new role with The Goodtimes Project.

Antoinette Lindberg

Antoinette is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Seattle Children’s Hospital who works primarily with patients who have musculoskeletal tumors. Many of her patients have been current and former campers with Goodtimes and she has seen what a positive influence camp has been in the lives of the patients and their siblings. She is excited to be on The Goodtimes Project board so that she can help these campers out in a way that is way more fun than surgery. Antoinette has found herself drawn to the pediatric oncology community starting back when she was a college Child Life volunteer on the pediatric oncology floor and as a Resource Counselor for the Dana-Farber Pediatric Oncology department as a new grad. She was born and raised in the Seattle area and is very happy to be back in her hometown taking care of her favorite patient population.

Madhura is a technology leader with over 20 years of experience. She has integrated technology into various fields, driving innovation while keeping the human aspect in focus. Inspired by the mantra "Vasudeva Kutumbakam," meaning "the whole world is one big family," she embraces a holistic and inclusive approach in her work and personal life. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family, volunteering and having a good time. Madhura is eager to contribute to The Goodtimes Project to make a positive impact. She looks forward to supporting and enhancing the important work this amazing organization is doing.

Being the grandmother of a child with cancer is a unique role, as Harriette discovered when her oldest granddaughter began treatment at age four. You are one step removed, but not from the love, the anguish, and the worry. Above all, you want to fix it, and you can’t. Harriette watched Camp Goodtimes give something to her granddaughter that she couldn’t – classic childhood experiences, giggles, and camaraderie with friends who understand her in a way that most cannot. She and her sister still look forward to camp each summer and have been inspired to support other families navigating pediatric cancer. 

Harriette has spent her career supporting leaders and organizational excellence, primarily in education.  She is currently an assistant clinical professor at Drexel University, where she guides students who want to change the world. She has served on a number of nonprofit boards and is honored to give back to The Goodtimes Project, whose efforts have made such a difference to her family and countless others.

Marc has been a Finance Leader at Amazon since 2017, leading teams supporting Amazon Fresh, Amazon Style, Amazon Go, and Amazon Pharmacy. Before that, he had Accounting and Finance Leadership roles at Ernst & Young, Abercrombie & Fitch, JCPenney, and Lands' End. He also serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Latona School Associates, a non-profit elementary school aftercare program. His brother Patrick passed away of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in 1999 at the age of 18, and Marc has since been a volunteer and fundraiser for various organizations fighting pediatric cancer. He attended his first Goodtimes Gala in 2022 and is excited to serve on the Board of this amazing organization starting in 2024. Marc lives in Seattle, and enjoys keeping up with his two daughters, who currently love swimming, ballet, soccer, basketball, and singing. He occasionally partakes in trivia and karaoke, with varying levels of success.

Camp Nickname: Dance Party

Jenn Kline Shernoff is a Technology Executive and Wine Entrepreneur who is honored to join The Goodtimes Project board. Jenn is a survivor of pediatric cancer and attended a camp similar to that of Camp Goodtimes on the East Coast when she was a teenager. That experience helped fuel her desire to give back, especially with families experiencing the dramatic impact that cancer has on the whole life. In her free time, Jenn spends time running, enjoying musical theatre, dabbling in art, and growing her wine business, Sound Goods Wine. She is the proud mom to three kids and one high maintenance doodle named Ralphy.

Wendy is a nonprofit fundraising professional working with nonprofits throughout the greater Puget Sound region. After attending Camp Goodtimes and other camps as a child and watching her brother beat cancer, Wendy is passionate about the healing power of camp and creating space for everyone in the family to experience that joy and healing! In her spare time, Wendy loves to travel, be creative, and explore parks and beaches with her two dogs. She is looking forward to joining The Goodtimes Project board and being part of an organization bringing joy and comfort to families facing cancer.
