Month of Hope, Year of Joy
Peer to Peer fundraising for Goodtimes
Welcome to The Goodtimes Project’s "Month of Hope, Year of Joy" campaign! This September, we’re coming together during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to raise $15,000—enough to fund a full year of joy-filled, single-day programs for children and families impacted by childhood cancer.
Your support, whether by donating or becoming a fundraiser, will help us continue providing these vital experiences that offer fun, connection, and hope to our kids and families throughout the year. Join us in creating a year filled with joy!

How You Can Help:
Donate:
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Here’s how your contribution can help:
$25 supports one attendee at a single-day program at fun locations like a local zoo, pumpkin patch, or bowling alley.
$50 funds dinner for one family on the Holiday Cruise.
$100 provides snacks at a program like curling lessons or the New Year’s Kick-off.
$500 covers facility rental or facilitator fees for rotating single-day programs.

Campaign Timeline and resources
Month of Hope, Year of Joy will run throughout September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. For one month, you’ll reach out to family, friends, colleagues, neighbors, and beyond to encourage giving that will support a full year of good times (pun always intended!)
You won’t be alone throughout your fundraising journey; we are here to help! We’ll provide content and coaching for when and how you can connect with community, including email templates, social media posts, text messages, and marketing materials. Fundraisers can determine how often they reach out to their network, but we’ll provide materials for about one touch point per week.
